My latest WOW- Apprentice in UK attracted 9.8 million viewers as aired by BBC one.
Not so great news - The producer of the British Series was thrown into a tough spot by the politicos. It has been inspired by the American Apprentice that was created by the king of reality TV- Mark Burnett. Media does bring up some interesting cultural differences and new reality tv productions do mirror those differences. Point to note-Businesses need to think of that while creating their work-teams.

Fuqua Cross-Continent MBA (The Fuqua School of Business) has done a great job of opening up windows and corridors to the big beasts such as China, India, and Far Eastern countries who need to not just keep their place under the sun but keep sharing points of view with the business owners and corporations. Last as a media and entertainment club we were engaged with a bright team of young and restless b-school teammates who put up a conference in Columbia Business School to create discussions and seek opinions from the best minds in broadcasting and television. The leaders were from NBC, Disney and Comcast. They did share their issues of working on integrating technology for entertainment. Innovation in NBC will need veryunique and a different set of skills compared to that of other such channels. The panelists spoke on mobile, branded entertainment, and creating the problem of managing entertainment using apps and tech freebies.Googles, Yahoos & other such new platforms that the world of tech throws on marketers.

We learn that television programming is about a lot of free-flow of information that need to come round the clock to reshape views of the India for Today or the UK of tomorrow. Reality Series or Original Programming are worthwhile investments till they have the entertainment value for the foreigner. The international chinese who was born in Vancouver and grew up in UK.
