Michael Jackson - there is business in death as well

Michael Jackson is one of the most well-known celebrities of the 80s & 90s. He created moonwalking and also sang countless tunes to bridge the emotional gap between USA and Africa that was so palpable due to racism that existed in the country in some hidden pockets and far-flung communities....His music gave reason for music lovers to identify with something that the African Americans & the Caucasions are so sensitive about. It makes me really sad to hear of the death since a legend like him are not born everyday. Unfortunately a couple of missteps, plastic surgery and desire to become a god costed MJ his life as he had to lose all his talent and succumb to what we would call the nature's call- one thing that we all need to do irrespective of our backgrounds, status or power is to listen to the call of death someday. It is one thing that certainly cannot be controlled as it does ensure that nature reigns supreme.

There is business in death as well. It is not just about mourning and attending the funeral. The death and post death tribute is screened by ABC, CBS and NBC .the life and death of the pop star attracted 18 million viewers. It is good to be a celebrity as there is some business after death. I wish there could be free albums of his music that couold be distributed to 18 million viewers as each of these viewers are watching the life of MJ only because they liked his songs and it is for those fans that MJ's death holds no pleasure but deep pain and anguish. Maybe media channels can do a thing or two to get to share MJ's songs with them and make them believe in the legend who did not die even after getting a fairer skin. Parade of the fair skin and its consequences.
