Interview with the CEO Ogilvy
Ad-Tech Conference is a modern conference that lets various marketers come together to connect with like minded people.
The various C-level suite and Board Room directors- are focusing on whether it's great to engage in activities- as digital is becoming a must.
Companies are playing the vanguard-but many companies are not moving fast enough on digital media.
Large number of business are lagging behind on digital indicators. There is a problem with respect to mass-level adoption. A prediction on the timeline in
which the technology can be adopted. If people have a smartphone- and 100 million people are online- does that mean many people will participate in stories
that really matter.
The CEO of Ogilvy - In 2010 Kent Wertime became a leader for a large organization-Ogilvy-and spent number of years-in Asia- training professionals on interactive advertising.
People are relentlessly working in adopting various devices.
There's nothing needs to be done to create digital adoption- however- people cannot be hit with sales pitches.
Audience need to create new forms of brand value. The challenge in digital is to grow. It needs to be an effective forum to help believers come together in a global conference. Many CEOs, CMOs are not believers-and they should be convinced so that they can spend money. When it comes time to invest- and see if investment- is something that justifiable.

Selling for a Greener Planet
https://youtu.be/DmW3ur41K4c
Selling for a greener planet can be the toughest job for brands. Brands often spend hours of focus getting to see the ''car'' in the carbon footprint.
They have big shoes to fill. They have to connect with the entire human race. The race does not get defined in the form of demographics, location, but beliefs, and
thought patterns. It is connecting with small business-and ensuring that they stay sustainable--and connect with smaller communities, which are looked up at for
economic value add.
There was a research done by emarketer.com
Consumers are in a crisis of attention.
Matthew B. Crawford’s book, “The World Beyond Your Head: On Becoming an Individual in an Age of
Distraction,” documents the many ways that our attention gets chewed up and spit out on a daily
basis. Naturally, that includes ads. Crawford is an advocate for people who want to “take back”
their attention—and given the consumer interest in ad-blocking software and digital detox retreats, we
thought his perspective would be especially relevant for eMarketer Attention!
181 million people will watch a video via an app--on You Tube per month.
Netflix will grow by around 30% year on year
Hulu
Amazon Prime
There is a campaign that is promoting ''Programmatic media execution''.
As a neuromarketer--the divide between marketing, sales, and neurological signals is getting blurred. The best way to stay updated to the latest trends in advertising, and
technology is to connect with your favorite brand.
If It's Apple---what are they focusing on
If It's HSBC----it would be good to understand that they are world's global local bank. They never underestimate the local knowledge that lends credibility to the global voice.
What HSBC learns in one language, and one country, would be helpful in understanding people from other countries. Selling for a greener planet is a universal human cry for help.
The non-profits remain that bridge between corporations, government, and communities---helping them spread their wings as they move forward in their journey of discovery.

An update built around Huddles for audience loving social sports---to gain insights into neuro-science has its benefits. It does instigate curious research minded people, who dream, eat think insights. It helps uniquely reward thoughts/action/processing/research/reading/questioning/changing/assessing. It allows crowdsourcing of ideas for products/programs/projects
1. Live Score updates
2. Real Time Tweets
3. Whatsapp EMOJIs
4. What sounds like ''Everything and the kitchen sink'' -- an over achiever expression does live up to its Game.
5. Reading apps, and updates, is a real time phenomenon.
There are many apps to teach #adaptive_marketing. That does not substitute the book by @NTjohnston. Hoping to get a copy of the book--and hearing more about it.

Mobile First
Is it working? Yes
What is MOBILE ADVERTISING?
Nielsen study that mobile advertising was leading to few percentage points of brand recall. Most people do not change mobile settings, see that videos have started.
Mobile video will be more engaging---85000 people were shared the recall levels for brand purchase, capability, purchase intent.
Clearly when you do it right--big things happen. Seven times standard advertising. Ten of millions of ad placement. It was five times the engagement of the banner ad.
Telecom services, Retail. Despite growth is seen, only 10% of automotive campaigns, engage in video.
There is still lot of room to grow---if you are Facebook user (must be) video advertising is hard.
Company is driving 1.5 million---they are losing their mind on coordinated campaign.
Mobile First
It can complement TV and traditional campaigns.
That does create sweet spot for enterprises.
Targeting audience, certain age groups, and integrated blocks.
TV and Mobile Ads can drive recall, but it can be a difference. Mobile ads can be the best performance marketing.
6 second mobile ad, felt good, but it was a unique ad designed for the mobile channel.
Mobile ad campaign, gave million (plus) reviews.
Brand Performance is increased through that superbowl ad on mobile.
What is not working?
Social Bakers, and Hootsuite are having massive amount of social content--native content fits in well, and it is in the flow of content.
Ads on newsfeed, were cheapest on brands, and they were most successful.
Content that is seen from friends. That is native content.
--Rewarded video
--Planned spontaneity
--Saturation
--Programmatic
--There is a lot going on in mobile, and it will be good to explain that with the programmatic technologies.
--Case studies explain the branded content, and across devices details.

Three common Mistakes people make when setting that website
Creating a website without a proper hosting Plan:
Running a website is almost similar to running a factory. I do not have experience in running a factory, and have all along worked in the corporate world
but I do remember a massive user testing, and design project that I was undergoing with FedEx partners, in Asia--and we would be on a call from morning
till late evening, communicating, chatting and sharing our anecdotes on how an interesting rewards can boost the loyalty markets--and not allow the select
few airlines to make the most, or earn the maximum number of rewards points. How stuck would you feel--if you are having a loyalty card for a brand that
does not relate to you--and they offer direct messaging, and communication, which makes you cringe, and feel so so stuck. That's exactly the problem with
''wrong '' hosting plans for a plans.
A good hosting plan allows --intuitive experience , absolutely great looking cPanel, and it should save up time for busy consultants, and business heads, who
have a lot of places to go, and meetings to do. The Blue Host plan is one of the best
plans out there as it allows great technology application , and a friendly
hosting platform, with customer support so that one could log in and make changes, even if it means only spending three minutes of a day everyday.
The agony of Launching an e-commerce website without any exciting products:
If you think that setting up a website is a great way of gaining fast and easy money, you’re sadly mistaken. There’s actually more work involved than simply taking
an order and shipping a product. It’s a process that demands your full attention and will require a fair amount of trial and error, such as which techniques are
working or not working in your attempt to drive traffic to your site.
Even if you outsource some parts of your business, you still have to keep a watchful eye on the business structure. Just because it’s online doesn’t mean that it’s run
any different than a traditional business. In short, be prepared to spend a lot of time improving and adjusting your site. I would personally make a list of everything
you should do and start checking off this list as they are completed.\
Too blog focused: We’ve all heard of WordPress, it’s one of the most popular blogging services around. However, it’s not always the best option to build a
website; which many people are doing. I personally use WordPress for several of my sites, but not all of them. This isn’t knocking WordPress, it’s an incredible
resource, it’s just that it doesn’t always fit in with how every site should be organized. Unless you’re providing news, WordPress – or any blogging platform at
that – makes it difficult to categorize a site and might not be the best option for your startup.
Unaware of revenue structure: Not trying products that can make one productive, and again help them monetize. There is a great product out there .
Get Response Email Marketing System--and it is a sure way of revenue generation. It is an online investing platform--and happens to really create winning products--and drive revenue through this product
that does look at maximizing presence on Google. The landing page is persuasive. I have not seen this product but I definitely feel that young, intelligent online internet
gurus--have a revenue plan to scale up the business. It is a set up that can be used on any network--and this is an example of a hands-off income. Again this is not a revenue plan, that newbies can have, but this is certainly a way to assess the market of bloggers, and see what works really well.
