I got an invite to the royal wedding- Digitally speaking

Not long back- we used to turn on the telly and watch our favorite soaps come live in our living room. We would wait for the show to broadcast, and get us connected with something that we loved to follow. Princess Diana's love affair, her tragic death, Corizon Aquino's shoe collection, or Victoria Beckham's spice girl show.
The time of telecast was so critical..Fast forward, and things don't seem to be so linear.

There is so much more to big events, or news. Even before the main event, there is enough and more trivia on the build up.   Platform for Entertainment has changed drastically, and how. Even before the start of the real royal wedding , there are Iphone, and Itune apps that are out in the market sharing the razzmatazz, or the fuss around the show. Picture Galleries, Video, and Audio Narrative. Every moment can be followed in an active sort of way. There are applications for everything. So for someone who wants to really be on top of the wedding, he/she would be on top of it.... Blogs, Youtube, Apps, Podcasts- there is so much that is out in the open.

The invite says- Celebrate William and Kate’s Big Day with the Royal Wedding iPhone App

It only takes an Iphone to get to the family tree of Kate, or her wedding dress. Now the royal wedding is not so high-brow anymore. There is a way to participate in the hoopla digitally. Smartphones!
